TCP/IP: MacTCP Configuration
The TCP/IP control panel
You can only change the settings if you're in Administration Mode. To get there:
- select User mode from the Edit menu
- select Administration.
Make sure you don't set a password...it's just one more thing to forget. If you set a password and forget it, you can drag the TCP/IP preferences to the trash, empty the trash, and reconfigure TCP/IP.
Make the following changes:
- Connect using your PPP software (FreePPP for FreePPP users, MacPPP for MacPPP users and PPP for OT PPP users).
- Configure should be set to Using PPP server.
- The Name server address reads 209.53.200.2.
- Add a secondary DNS address of 209.53.200.3.
- Search domains is set to: aebc.com
The changes will take effect when you save them upon exiting.
