Dialers: Dial-Up Networking


  1. Click on start, go to settings, then click on Network and Dial-Up Connections. Then Click Next.



  2. Double click on make new connection. Then Click Next.



  3. Click Next.



  4. Select the radio button next to Dial up to private network. Then Click Next.



  5. Under the Phone number field, enter in 899-8995, or your local number to dial-up to AEBC. Then Click Next.



  6. Select the radio button next to For all users. Then Click Next.



  7. Type in AEBC for the name of this connection. Then click the check-box at the bottom to Add a shortcut to my desktop. Then Click Next.



  8. Now on your desktop, there should be a AEBC icon, double click on it.



  9. Before you enter your username and password, click Properties.



  10. Select Networking at the top. Then click once on TCP/IP to ensure its highlighted, and then click Properties.



  11. Half way down, you want to click on the radio button next to Use the following DNS server addresses.
    Preferred DNS Server: 209.53.200.2
    Alternate DNS Server: 209.53.200.3
    Then Click OK.



  12. Click OK.



  13. Enter in your username and password which is the first part of your email address (USERNAME@aebc.com). Enter in your password, then click dial.
