Navigation with Internet Explorer 3.0 is easy to use--this page will show you how to do the following things:
- How to type in a URL
- How to move back and forth from page to page
- How to add a site to your Favorites list
- How to go back to a site via your Favorites list
- Search!
1. How to type in a URL
- Find the URL in the Address: field.
- Highlight the URL with your mouse.
- Replace it with the URL of the place you want to go.
- Hit Return, and you're on your way.
2. How to move back and forth from page to page
The Back button--
--allows you to go the page you had just visited.
The Forward button--
--lets you move forward again, after you've clicked Back. Let's say you start at page 1. You click on the link to page 2. You realize that you weren't done with page 1, so you click on the Back button. After you're done with page 1, you can
click the Forward button to continue reading page 2. Try it--you'll understand.
3. How to add a site to your Favorites list
- Go to the site you want to add.
- Click on the Favorites, and select "Add to Favorites."
- That's it--you're done. Click on the Tab again to make it slide back into place.
4. How to visit a site via your Favorites list
That's simple--click on the Favorites button, and from the Favorites list, select the website you want to visit.
5. Search!
To find anything you need on the Internet, simply click on the Search button:
